What we do
- White-label SaaS platforms for restaurants and bars. The client uses the platform under its own brand and towards its own end customers, while we handle development, operation and maintenance. We currently have three active clients.
- Ristoflow. Our own product for handling missed calls: it answers the restaurant's phone while staff are on the floor and follows up with callers on WhatsApp.
- Digital signage for venues. Screens and content for in-venue communication: menus, daily specials, information for guests.
How we handle our clients' data
The model is always the same, in white-label as in Ristoflow: the data belongs to the client business, not to us. Every restaurant or bar using our platforms remains the owner of its phone number, of its messaging accounts and of its own end customers' data.
Fermich acts as data processor on behalf of each client business under Art. 28 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, and processes that data only to deliver the service requested and only on the business's own instructions. Each client's data is kept separate from every other client's and encrypted at rest.
We do not use client businesses' data, or their end customers' data, for our own purposes: no advertising, no transfer to third parties, no training of artificial intelligence models. Details are on the Security page and in the privacy policy.
Why restaurants
Brunico is a town of twenty thousand people in a valley that lives on tourism. A restaurant here has two peaks a day, speaks three languages, and runs with small teams that at peak service cannot take their hands off a plate to answer the phone. Everyone knows the result: the phone rings, nobody picks up, the customer calls the next place.
Ristoflow came out of that. We didn't try to build a management suite that does everything: we took the moment a restaurant loses money without noticing and solved that one thing. The consequence is a small product a restaurateur understands in five minutes and that staff need to learn nothing new to use.
We work in an Italian- and German-speaking market, with customers who often serve English-speaking guests too. That is why the service, the panel and the support all exist in three languages: it isn't a courtesy translation, it is how our customers work.
How we behave
We say what the product does
Ristoflow does one thing. We would rather lose a customer by explaining that we don't solve their problem than sell it to them and disappoint them two months later.
We respect the channel
WhatsApp works as long as people trust the messages they receive. We don't send advertising dressed as service, and we turn down customer requests that head that way.
Whoever answers the phone knows the product
Support isn't outsourced. The person who answers a restaurateur with a problem at eight in the evening is the same person who built the feature that isn't working.
